work for show in Macbeth

I made a work for the show at Macbeth in East London. This show will be a group show which run and exhibit by my friends from college, and all the works will be in response to the film called "DEEP END"(1970, directed by Jerzy Skolimowski)


I really enjoyed watching this film, I think it is a low badged film but composition and colour was so amazing, especially, tiles and walls in the bathhouse are my favorite. This work is looks bit different from what I usually do, but the visual of this film made me feel to make this style of work and I enjoyed the difference.


I enjoyed story too, the story was very naive and so pure I felt. I don't fancy this kind of boy, but I feel, If I were boy, I guess I am bit like him, so I felt bit in common with this boy in the film some how, stupid boy.haha

イーストロンドンにあるMacbethであるグループ展に向けて作品を作ったよ。
このグループ展は大学の友達が運営、展示を行います。DEEP END(1970, 監督： Jerzy Skolimowski)っていう映画を見て、それについてのイラスト展示です。

私はこの映画見た後、好きになっちゃって、お金かかってない映画なんだけど、ショットの構図や色がすごく素敵で、特にタイルや壁の色なんかがお気に入り。

この作品は普段描く雰囲気とちょっと違う感じで描いたんだけど、この映画をみたら、こんなの描きたくなった。
でも違う感じで描くのも楽しかったよ。

映画の話自体もなんか好きで、話自体がなんだか青臭くってピュアだとおもった。
こんな男の子がボーイフレンドになったら嫌だけど、自分が男だったら、ちょっとこんな感じじゃないんだろうか、、って、なんでだか共感しちゃったよ。

i phone picture book progress

This is one of the drawings from the iphone picture book project which I am doing with wingedchariot.


This is a story about naked mole rat and mole cricket.

This image is for sample of style, now I have to develop as suitable format for I phone. So I need think about make layers, how pencil drawing lines will be appear on screen and how the characters could move.. and so on.

It is interesting to think about "book" in digital format. It shouldn't become an animation, it should be kept as a book format, but there is more possibility to make this a digital book more than an analog book.



wingedchariot.という絵本の会社と一緒にやってる、iphone 絵本に向けて描いた絵。

はげもぐら　と　おけらの話。

これは、スタイルを見せるためのサンプルに描いたためのもので、これからiphoneで使える形にするために発展させていかなきゃいけない。
レイヤー分けしたりとか、鉛筆の線がどんな風に画面に映し出されるかとか、キャラクターがどんな風に動くか、、とか。

本っていうものを、デジタルで考えるのっておもしろいとこがあって、絵が動くからって、アニメになっちゃいけないと思うし、本の形を保ちつつ、普通の本ではできないデジタルでしかできない工夫もある。

happy TRAVELLERS exhibition and work shop at OKIDO shop!!

Me and Soju had exhibition and workshop at OKIDO SHOP.

It went very well and people who came to this event, they really loved! especially kids! they were ignoring their mum's word, ' ok, it's going to be the last one, then we go home', but they were drawing and drawing and drawing.. I was very happy to see the situation. :D

昨日、ついにワーショップの日でした。

予想以上に子どもたちがわんさか来てくれて、てんやわんやでしたが、とっても楽しかった！

OKIDOの人たちも「今までで一番のワークショップだよ！」っていってくれたし、

来てくれた人たちも「すごい！すごい！amazing!」の連発を放ってくれて、

そしてなによりこどもたちが夢中になってワークショップ楽しんでくれて、

ママさんたちが、

「もう、これで最後よ、コレ終わったら帰るからね、」

っていう声きけて、

それでも子どもたちは無視してぐりぐり絵を描いてた姿がみれたのがもうほんとうに楽しかった。

チューターのピーさんとその家族がやってきてくれたよ。

ピーさんもすごく気に入ってくれたみたいで、わたしもそうじゅくんも嬉しかったのが顔にでてるね。

our tutor Peter came with his family, and they enjoyed our event, we were so glad, you can tell how happy we were, from our face! aha!

この二人、兄弟みたいに仲良く話して絵をかいてたから、あら、かわいい兄弟ね〜って思ってたら、

おっきい方の子が

「how old are you?おまえ、何歳？」

って聞いてて、え！兄弟じゃなかったのかよ！

ってそうじゅ君とざまさんと笑いました。

It was the best back ground music for this event!

彼はとってもシャイで、

「パペット作らないの？」

ってきいても黙って首を横にふるだけだったのに、

後でこっそり一人で隅で何度もパペット作ってたよ。

かわゆい。

やっぱり描くの好きなんだね。

アレックスがアコーディオンひいてたら、しらないハーモニカ吹いてたおじさんが突然参加して一緒に演奏をはじめた！

そして前を歩いてた小さな女の子がそれにあわせてひらひら踊りだしたよ。

she was very shy when she started making puppets. But the end of the day, she made so many puppets and she become so cheerful!

最初とってもシャイで全然しゃべってなかったのに、パペットをたくさん作って、作るにつれてテンションめっちゃ高くなって

then we played with ship!

I had very good day today.

it was so much fun working with kids!

I would like to do more this kind of event, if I have chance.
